MGSE – Deployment Equipment (0G)

SaW RIG 0g Solar Array Deployment Systems

Antenna Gravity Offset System

FEATURES

 MAIN FEATURES:

The Saw RIG will be used to perform two phases of the solar array wings:

Integration: the Saw Rig will have a central frame with hoisting winch.
Deployment: solar wings test up to 4 panels (upgradable to reach Conf.3).
Two system are independently and can be used in parallel on the same line (integration and deployment together – TBD the total SAW Rig length)

The deployment Saw RIG rails are composed by two rails in stainless steel with 5 longitudinal linear bearing for lateral displacement and each system is equipped with a carriage item with panel’s interface.
